Ten years had changed much. Ten years had seen the Lady Sonomi Daidouji raise her two daughters into flowering ladies of the court, beautiful young ladies who could smile, talk, dance, eat, walk and think as a proper lady should. The two young daughters had indeed flourished into fine creatures, and they would do their mother proud.

Ten years had also seen a sadder story take place – the story of a father and his daughter, the story of a father and his second wife. The story of how the father left his daughter one day, with one whom he believed he could trust. The story of a second wife, who could not bear to look into the eyes of her stepdaughter, and see the face of what she had lost, and condemned her to live a life of servitude and humility.

Kingdom fic & AU. Prince Syaoran thinks he's fallen in love with the feisty Countess Nadeshiko Amamiya, who he met at court. Little does he know that she's really a disguised Sakura, forced to work as a servant for her apathetic stepmother. Based on the movie Ever After with Drew Barrymore, Anjelica Huston and Dougray Scott.

I longed for a horizon. A light in the darkness. A beacon of hope in a world of torment and shadows. Perhaps one guiding hand to lead me forward through the forests of doubt, of loneliness and confinement.

And then, after twelve years of blackness, of praying for deliverance, it came. Unexpectedly. In a flash.

And I found myself in a stranger’s arms.

AU-ish. Sakura loses her eyesight and hearing in a car accident, and is trapped in a void of blackness. The only one who can understand her every thought is Syaoran Li, her teacher, mentor, guide, friend...soulmate? Based on the Hindi movie Black starring Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh Bachchan, which was in turn inspired by the story of Helen Keller.

A dilemma presented itself when the baby girl with the cap of red curls recovered, because she could not remain in the hospital any longer. She couldn’t understand this as the doctors and nurses regarded her sadly, lying on her side, her wide green eyes observant and intelligent. She had no family, no shelter, nothing in this world to call her own. Her struggle for life had begun much too early. But she faced them determinedly, her gaze unwavering, and they knew she would be formidable. The next day, she was put up for adoption.

She was, and would be, a fighter to the last.

AU. Sakura. Agent 17255872. Two identities, one person. With a single goal: survival. But when she meets her new partner, Li Syaoran, she may need to fix her priorities. Because he's determined to enter her life again and she can't keep resisting...

AUish. Sakura is a famous fanfiction author. Syaoran is the best beta she's ever had. They share a world made of the words and tales they weave and write. But they don't know that they know each other. In real life.
